Get started with IMAP and POP3

POP and IMAP is what allows you to download messages from creative-web's servers onto your computer so you can access your mail with a program like Microsoft Outlook or Thunderbird, even when you aren't connected to the Internet.

You can read your messages from a client or device that supports POP, like Microsoft Outlook.

  • Standard configuration instructions:
    • Incoming Mail (POP3 - IMAP) Server - : mr2.websitewelcome.com
    • Username - : Your email address
    • Password - : Your password
    • Use Authentication: Yes
    • Use SSL: YES
    • Port: 993
  • Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - : mr2.websitewelcome.com
    • Username - : Your email address
    • Password - : Your password
    • Use Authentication: Yes
    • Use SSL: YES
    • Port: 465
  • Full Name or Display Name: [your name]
  • Account Name or User Name: your full email address
  • Email Address: your email address (username@your_domain.com)
  • Password: your password

If you're having trouble sending mail but you've confirmed that encryption is active for SMTP in your mail client, try to configure your SMTP server on a different port (465, 587 or 2525).
